Private Instruction
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Fridays at Clocktower Music at 676 Laurel St. San Carlos, Ca.
Thursday via Zoom.
Ages 10 and up.
For weekly students, lessons are billed on a monthly tuition.
$210/month for 1/2 hour lessons
$420/month for hour long lessons.

One-off, individual, non-weekly, lessons can be scheduled here.

Teaching Experience
I’ve been playing the guitar for 35 years and teaching full time for 20. While in my early teens I studied with George Hanepen, a local guitar player whose teaching emphasized reading, theory, and improvisation. After high school I studied at the College of San Mateo. In 1988 I began working for From The Heart Music, an after school music program based in San Mateo. During this time I was working with as many as 60 students a week, often in group settings with students of varying levels of experience. Since 2001 I’ve been teaching out of Clocktower Music in San Carlos. The types of music I love the most are classic rock, Americana roots music, jazz, blues, folk and country.
Financials
Tuition students will be sent a monthly invoice via Venmo.

I also accept cash, check, PayPal, and Apple Pay.
”One off”, non- weekly students will pay the day of the lesson.
Cancellation Policy
Please give me a 24 hour notice to cancel a lesson. With the 24 hour notice the student has the opportunity to reschedule a lesson. Please reschedule within 2 weeks of the missed lesson. The make up lesson itself can be more than 2 weeks out.
If you are sick, please stay home, even if the cancellation is shorter than 24 hours. I will do my best to reschedule the lesson for you.
Group Classes
Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday evenings 6:15-7:15
Classes run 8 weeks.
$300
